Have you captured the beauty of the rock pool creature that you observed?
Yes. I looked at the pictures that were on the floor of the classroom. I put patterns in my picture that are the spikes of the kina.
How difficult was it to transfer the patterns from your observational drawing to your Batik?
It was hard trying to draw it like my first picture because I wasn’t doing it with a pen, I had to use wax and it was going all over the place. I was using a Tjanting with wax in it. A Tjanting is like a pen.
