Battle of the Mountains
Battle of the Mountains
Once there were seven mountains.
All of the boy mountains loved the beautiful lady
mountain called Pihanga.
The boy mountains were having a fight and they were throwing molten rock at each
other.
The battle took a long time.When the battle was
finished and Tongariro had won, Taranaki went west.
The sun came up and the mountains froze to the
spot they were in.
