Sausages And Custard Song

They give me sausages and custard covered in mustard pizza 3 days old, green jelly ham and black berry ham stuck to the side of my bowl. With an ice cream cone all food is stuck to the bowl I think I will find my bone.

Yay! Today it is the first of summer and it is nearly my birthday. My birthday is the 21st of December. My brothers birthday is the 16th of December. I am turning 7 but I'm still 6 and a half and Masons going to turn 12. My party is the 15th of December. Masons party is the 19th of December.

Nail Polish On My Horses

Yay! I was allowed to put nail polish on my horses. Mum had to put the nail polish on the horses. The horses are brown, black, and white. The nail polish colors are green, light pink, purple, orange, blue and dark pink.The dark pink is a kind of reddie pinkish and the light pink is a little bit light red.

Skating

Yay On Saturday I went skating with my dad, Mason and Luca. When I was skating I kept falling over because I was going too fast on the skating area. I was helping Luca for a little bit because he kept falling over as well. I got better and better, my brother Mason was a little bit faster than me. But I was still beating Mason for some rounds but some of the other rounds Mason beat me.  Luca was way behind us and dad was way in front of us.

My Cousins

Yesterday I went to my cousin’s house. We played a freaky game where the boy’s had to scare me and Jethro. Ahhhhhhh!!!! I screamed. Then I ran away because Malee had a guitar in his hand. I went the other way but Luca was there so I said to myself “I have to go into the bedroom it’s time to go in”. Let’s go in I’m coming Malhee and Luca”. “Raaa!!!!” screamed Malhee and Luca.  Ahhhhh!!! I screamed. I will go and hide under the bed, I went under the bed but Luca was under there! “Help!” I screamed but no one came. But then I saw someone in the bedroom. It was Jethro. I said to him can you save me. He said yes I will!

My Bubble

Wow! I’m floating in a bubble very high in the sky going to candy land. Everything is made out of candy even the animal's are made out of candy. The bubble was even made out of candy!

My T-Shirt

Oh no my orange juice spilt all over my t-shirt. I must wash it so we are going to do the washing now. There is heaps to do at home. Now I have to feed the cats and the dogs and clean the dog poo on the driveway.

I have a very cute cat that is a scattery cat. He is a very fast kitten. His name is Neo. Neo is a 1 year old. His brothers are one and 2 years old. Honey is a one year old. Millo is two years old.

My Caterpillar

Today I made a caterpillar, it is made out of egg cartons, toothpaste and there is a little caterpillar inside it.  There is an antenna and that is made out of flowers and grey silver tape.  The legs are stuck onto the caterpillar and there is holes so the caterpillar legs can fit into the caterpillar.  The head is made out of an old silver tape box.  There are little flowers to stick on the caterpillar's head and toothpicks on the outside of the caterpillar.  It has lines on it too.

The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time there was three little pigs. Their mum said to go and build your own house to live in. The three little pigs set off and packed their bags. One of the pigs found some straw on sale then the pig set off to build her straw house. Then another day the other pig found some sticks on sale to use for his stick house then he set off to build his house. The next day the other pig built a brick house and then he saw a wolf, the wolf huffed and puffed and blew the house down.  

My Burnt Hand

When it was my Nana's birthday I burnt my hand. When I burnt my hand I said ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! and then my Mum got me some cream to put on my hand and I said OW. Then my Mum got me some licorice and chocolate.

Dead Rat

Yesterday my dad picked up a live rat.  When my mum saw the rat she screamed like a tiger.  Then my dad chucked the rat outside.  Phew!! said mum.  We probably have rats in our house because we have heaps of scraps on the floor.  They probably live in a swamp..

My Tooth

Ow!!! My tooth is bleeding.  I screamed because my tooth really really hurt.  I tried to pull my tooth out with a tissue but it got stuck in another tooth.  But then I got the tissue out of my other tooth.

Fiji

I went to Fiji.  I stayed at a house.  There was a big pool at the house.  Then I jumped into the pool.  I splashed my Mum too.  We saw a horse.  I took photo's of the horse.  There were three horses.  We put apples on the sand then we went to a hotel.  We watched a movie at the hotel.  I got my hair braided.  I had to stay still for over an hour and a half.  I got to pick my beads to put in my hair.  I had spaghetti for lunch.  I got a pink turtle necklace it has a crab and a starfish in my necklace.  We waited to hop on the plane to go to Auckland and hop on a plane to go back to New Zealand.  In the plane I got a colouring in sheet and a bag of lollies.

My New Shoes

I got new shoes today. They are black and white. We got them from the Warehouse. There are lines on them. They have diamonds on the bottom of my shoes. There are spots on the bottom of my shoes too. My mum got them from the Warehouse. They look cool. We also got black jandals. My mum and dad got shoes too.

The Rat In The Roof

On mothers day we had a special dinner at my Nana and Granddad's house.  There was a rat in their roof, they killed two rats in their roof.  The big rat ran away so they put a trap in their roof then two rats had a family in their roof.  Mum screamed when she saw them.

Have you captured the beauty of the rock pool creature that you observed?

Yes. I looked at the pictures that were on the floor of the classroom. I put patterns in my picture that are the spikes of the kina.

How difficult was it to transfer the patterns from your observational drawing to your Batik?

It was hard trying to draw it like my first picture because I wasn’t doing it with a pen, I had to use wax and it was going all over the place. I was using a Tjanting with wax in it. A Tjanting is like a pen.

I went to the Aquatic Center yesterday.  I did a flip in the water. I splashed my brothers. Then we went to the dairy. We got an ice cream. I got cookies and cream with a lolly. We went in mums car to the Aquatic center. Our mum took us there,  my dad did not come to the Aquatic center with us because he was at work he came back home at tea time.
